One of our client in Bengaluru is seeking Head of Growth B2B Sales. you will spearhead the development and execution of strategies aimed at driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base within the business-to-business (B2B) segment. This role involves working closely with sales, marketing, product, and senior management teams to identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives that maximize profitability and accelerate sales. Your focus will be on strategic planning, business development, and leading the sales function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Growth Strategy: Work with cross-functional teams to set growth objectives and devise a clear strategy. This includes identifying target markets, understanding customer needs, and evaluating competitive landscapes.
  • Lead and Manage the B2B Sales Team: Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the sales team to achieve sales targets. Establish clear goals, monitor performance, and implement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Continuously analyse market trends and customer demands to uncover growth opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to generate new business leads.
  • Optimize Sales Processes: Review and enhance sales processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Implement sales tools, methodologies, and metrics to track performance, manage pipelines, forecast accurately, and increase conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Product Teams: Align sales strategies with product development, ensuring consistency in messaging and campaign execution. Provide input on target audience segmentation and messaging strategies.
  • Analyze Sales Data: Regularly analyse sales metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to gain insights and make data-driven decisions. Implement corrective measures as needed to improve performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in B2B sales. Use this knowledge to drive innovation and position the company competitively in the market.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in B2B sales and business development, with a proven focus on driving revenue growth.
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of building and motivating high-performing sales teams.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with both clients and internal teams.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach to achieving targets.
Sales Technology: Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and other sales technologies.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the B2B sales landscape, market dynamics, and industry trends.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
